General Notes: Husband - Albert G. C. Johnston


Civil War: He enlisted in Co. I, 103d Reg. P. V., in November, 1861. He served under Gen. McClellan in the Peninsular campaigns, and later with Wendell's brigade in North Carolina. He had re-enlisted as a veteran, was taken prisoner at New Berne, North Carolina, in 1864, and died in Andersonville prison.
