General Notes: Husband - Thomas J. Arnott


He received all his education in the public schools of Franklin, Pennsylvania. He passed the earlier years of his business life in different occupations, clerking for a time, and was in the West for two years, engaged in gold mining in Idaho, where he was associated with two other men from Franklin, W. D. Bunce and S. D. Karns. Upon his return to Frank­lin he entered the tobacco and cigar trade. He also had interests in the mining and oil busi­ness. [HVC 1919, 1058]
