With the exception of four acres, the Miller homestead, in South Mahoning township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, was improved by John Miller and his sons. He located upon it in 1835. The tract had been patented to John Brodhead, who, 1814, sold it to Matthew Wyncaop, the latter disposing of the property to Miller.
