General Notes: Husband - Alexander Yenner Jones


He was his father's assistant in business, later conducted a hotel at Renovo,
Clinton County, Pennsylvania; was postmaster of that town and was county commissioner of Clinton County, two terms.
He enlisted in Company C, Two Hundred and Ninth Regiment Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, attaining the rank of sergeant; he was seriously wounded at the battle of Fort Steadman and never fully recovered.
