General Notes: Husband - Martin Kapp

Early in life he engaged in the then iron industry, but partnership treachery ruined him when old smear-case furnace failed. Industry soon put him back into life again. In 1868 he sold his farm and moved his family to Livingston County, Missouri, to a farm near Avalon. In 1885, he again sold and moved to Avalon, engaging in furniture and undertaking business, until death called him.
