General Notes: Husband - Samuel Selen Kapp


Civil War: He answered his country's call in June, 1861, a member of Co. "E" 10th PA Volunteers, was badly wound-ed August 28th in 2nd Battle of Bull Run, and died September 22nd, having his right leg amputated and buried at Tarrey-town, Maryland. His body is buried in Soldier's Home Cemetery, Washington, D. C.
