General Notes: Husband - Nathan Roberts


He was born in Frankford, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and learned the trade of a silversmith. In 1817 he settled near Greenville, Mercer County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased a farm and devoted himself to agricultural pursuits. In 1875 [sic] he moved to Henry County, Illinois, where he became the owner of another farm and passed the remainder of his life. He was a respected member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
