General Notes: Husband - Daniel Ashbaugh


He had little chance to obtain an education, as he early became a helper at clearing and working the home farm. At the age of eighteen he began learning the carpenter's trade with Abraham Saliday, following that trade the remainder of his active life, living in St. Petersburg, Salem township, and beginning in 1891 again in St. Petersburg, retired.
