LeRoy C. Lusher, Millwright At Steel Works, Dies
LeRoy C. Lusher, 55, of Mercer Road, Franklin RD 1, a past noble grand of Venango Lodge No. 255 IOOF, an employe of the Franklin Steel Division, died at 8 a.m. today in the Franklin Hospital where he had been a patient for four days.
Mr. Lusher was born in Rockland Township on Sept. 3, 1904, the son of the late Perry E. and Hattie Myers Lusher. He had been a resident of Venango County all his life and resided in the Franklin area for many years.
He was employed for the past 18 years at the Franklin Steel Division of Borg-Warner Corp., serving as a millwright, and prior to his employment there he worked at the Eclipse Works of the Atlantic Refining Co.
Mr. Lusher had been a member of the Odd Fellows for many years and was a past noble grand of the Franklin Lodge. He was a member of the Galloway Methodist Church.
He married the former Priscilla Keith on Nov. 15, 1944. She survives along with a step-son, Walter Beers, of Meadville Pike; a brother, George Lusher, of Franklin, and a sister, Mrs. Harold (Ruby) Graham, of Franklin. A brother, Arthur Wayne Lusher, died in January 1954.
Friends may call at the Burger Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. William P. McCray, pastor of the Galloway Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in the Rockland Cemetery.

LeRoy Lusher
Services for LeRoy Lusher, of Franklin RD 1, Mapledale, who died Saturday morning in the Franklin Hospital, were conducted Monday at 2 p. m. in the Burger Funeral Home.
Rev. William McCray, pastor of the Galloway Methodist Church, officiated and during the services read the hymns, "Old Rugged Cross" and "Abide With Me."
Interment was made in the Rockland Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Paul, Ronnie and James Lusher and Harold, Charles and Robert Graham.
On Sunday evening, members of Venango Lodge No. 255, IOOF, called at the funeral home to hold memorial services. Those assisting with the services included Noble Grand Charles Cochran, Vice Grand Calvin Gilmore and Chaplain Giles Thomas.

Priscilla K. Lusher
Priscilla K. Lusher, 90, of 10 Taylor St., died at 10:50 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 1997, at her residence.
Born Nov. 19, 1906, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Keith and Mary Starr.
She was married to Roy Lusher.
Mrs. Lusher was a homemaker.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Beers of Erie; a granddaughter, Lisa Hays of Erie; and a great-grandchild, Jessica Hays, also of Erie.
Mrs. Lusher was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Walter Beers; and a grandchild, Julie Ann Beers.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
The Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be in Rockland Cemetery.

Priscilla Keith is Bride of Roy Lusher
The parsonage of the First Evangelical Church was the scene at 8 p. m. Wednesday of the marriage of Priscilla Angeline Keith and Roy Coulter Lusher, both of Franklin. The pastor, Rev. B. E. Coleman, read the single ring ceremony.
The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. David Orr, of Galloway. Mrs. Orr is a sister of the bride. The bride wore a fuchsia colored dress with a black hat, and the bridesmaid wore a black crepe dress with matching hat.
The guests attending the ceremony were Miss Cora Reading and Miss Edna Moore, of Franklin. Mr. and Mrs. Lusher have many friends in Franklin. After a brief wedding trip they will reside at 119 Elm Street, Rocky Grove.
