General Notes: Husband - William Rodgers


He came to America from England; he served as a private in Capt. Lacey's 4th Battalion in the Revolution.

He was born in England, and came to America in 1760, settling in what was then Lancaster, and is now Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. He held the rank of Colonel in the Revolutionary War. Subsequently he moved to Perry County, where he farmed until his death.
