General Notes: Husband - Meek Kelly


The same source [pg. 413] states that he died at age sixty, which would make the year of his birth about 1783.

He was appointed deputy surveyor of Indiana County, Pennsylvania, in 1833, by surveyor general, Jacob Spangler.
He was a surveyor of high reputation, and it was he who ran the boundary lines and laid out the counties of Potter and McKean (Pennsylvania) into townships.

He was a state senator from Indiana County, Pennsylvania, from 1834 to 1838, and elected associate judge of the county in 1842.
