General Notes: Husband - George Kelso

---

He and his wife passed the first years of their married life in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and in 1857 bought 178 acres in Cecil township, Wash-ington County. He made many improvements on the place, and in 1881 erected a comfortable house; in addition to general farming he raised a good grade of sheep. He was a Republican in poli-tics, and served his township as inspector of elections and auditor. In religious faith they were members of the U. P. Church at Venice.
