DIED.
Near Manor Dale, Pa., December 24, Mrs. Lydia Kemerer, aged 62 years, 4 months and 27 days. The deceased had been afflicted for a number of years with asthmatic and dropsical troubles. La Grippe set in and in one short week terminated her earthly life. In infancy she was baptized by Rev. Winch and confirmed by him in the sixteenth year of her age. She was a communicant member of the Emmanuel congregation for 45 years. Like her daughter, Mrs. Steele, who died a few years ago, she left a legacy, the interest of which is to be used in keeping the God's acre in which her body reposes beautiful and in order. By that legacy, though dead, she yet speaketh. "Arise ye and depart, for this is not your rest."
