General Notes: Husband - William Kennedy


He served in the Revolution on the staff of his uncle, Gen. William Maxwell, of New Jersey. He represented the counties of Sussex and Warren in the New Jersey Legislature, and was Speaker of the Assembly, and afterward served as a Judge of the County Courts. For many years he was an elder of the Presbyterian Church at Greenwich, New Jersey.
