He was educated at the Pittsburg College of the Holy Ghost, and later entered the medical department of the Western University of Pennsylvania in 1895, graduating May 17, 1899. He practiced for six years in Homestead, Pennsylvania, where he built up a large practice, and at the end of that time, in 1904, removed to Crafton, where he became a successful practitioner. The Doctor was a member of the Allegheny County Medical Society, the Pennsylvania State Medical Society and the American Medical Association, also the Chartiers Valley Medical Association. He was connected with the Fourth degree of the Knights of Columbus, member of the Catholic Mutual Benefit Association and was a member of St. Philip's Roman Catholic church.
