General Notes: Husband - Clements Kepple

He was a successful farmer and owned the property adjacent to the original homestead of his father. Here he erected, in 1862, a brick house and within four years thereafter a large barn. This farm contained some one hundred and fifty acres and was left by Mr. Kepple to his grandson, Wilson E. Kepple. Toward the latter part of his life, he lived with his son, Jacob Kepple, but after the latter's death made his home with his grandson, Wilson E., where his death occurred on September 26, 1898, when more than ninety years of age.

He lived on the old family homestead, and his granddaughter, Mrs. W. T. Seanor, later owned it.

One source gives Sophia Kepple, wife of Eli McCormack, as his daughter, but most source states she was his sister. The known dates for family members make this second relationship seem most likely.
