General Notes: Husband - Ellis Askey

For many years he was a pilot on the river, and lost his life by drowning. At an early day he had purchased land, and improved a good farm on Chestnut Ridge, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, where he spent his time when not on the river. He and his wife held membership in the United Brethren Church.
