Children

General Notes: Husband - Alfred Uber

He was reared on his father's farm and obtained his education at the primitive schools of the new country in which he was reared. He was early in life taught the use of industrious habits and was never afraid of hard labor. In early life he commenced farming for himself and continued in agricultural pursuits until 1902, when he retired, and moved to Grove City, Pennsylvania. While on his farm he was an extensive raiser and dealer in stock. Even in retirement he continued to hold his farm interests and was signally successful in his labors as a progressive agriculturist.
Politically Mr. Uber was a believer in the principles of the Republican party, but never cared to hold position in the way of party offices. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
