General Notes: Husband - J. George King

---

He was reared in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and attended the district schools, and after taking entire charge of the homestead, in 1884, devoted himself to general farming and fruit growing. During the Civil war he became a member of Company H, 14th Regiment, Pennsylvania Militia, when there was danger of invasion into Pennsylvania by the Confederates, and was out a short time.
