General Notes: Husband - John Kling


In the spring of 1833, he, with his family, removed to Kelly township, Union County, Pennsylvania, but as their daughter Joanna was ill at the time she remained with her paternal grandparents in her native county, being reared by them until seventeen years of age. Her father spent his remaining days at his new home, dying there at the age of seventy-two.
In politics, he was a Republican, and in religious belief, a Lutheran, serving as a deacon in his Church.
