General Notes: Husband - John H. McIntyre


He received his education in the common schools of Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, finishing his studies at the age of sixteen, when he went to learn the painter's trade with his uncle L. P. Wentzell. In the course of time he bought out his uncle, and thereafter successfully conducted a paint shop in Greensburg.
