He came to Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, when a young man, and in 1814 moved to Harmony, Butler County, where he worked at farming for Mr. Ziegler. He was in the service (War of 1812?) before moving to Butler County.
His wife died in 1815, and he removed to Ohio, where he died.
