General Notes: Husband - James Edwin Atwell

He received his education at the local public schools. He then engaged in the lumber business, making his home at Emlenton, Pennsylvania, that town being also the headquarters of his business. In 1915 he was elected justice of the peace. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, at Lisbon, and became an elder. He was also ardently interested in the Prohibitionist movement and did much to advance that cause.
