General Notes: Husband - Harry S. McBride


He attended the district schools of Clearfield Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and also was enrolled in the Butler Business College. He spent the first eight years of his business career in the employ of the Standard Steel Car Company and then became interested in the oil fields of Pennsylvania. In 1910 he established a retail candy business in Butler, which he successfully conducted until 1920, at which time he entered the wholesale candy manufacturing business. Mr. McBride also held a position with the Harmony Short Line Railroad Company beginning in 1922.
He held membership in St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, fourth degree. He was a Republican.
