General Notes: Husband - John V. Lacock


He was born in Amwell township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and received his education at the subscription schools of the county.
After his marriage he settled in Franklin township, afterward moving to Washington borough, where he remained three years, then came to the home place, and thence to another farm of fifty acres at Point Lookout. In politics he was an active Democrat, and in religion belonged to the Disciple Church at Washington. Over six feet high, he was a fine specimen of the native American.
