General Notes: Husband - Jacob Aultman


His grandfather Aultman was born in Germany and came to America with his family in early manhood. He afterwards came to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and located in East Huntingdon township, where he lived till his death.

He was a farmer of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a republican and served for several terms as township road supervisor and tax collector. He was an earnest member of the Evangelical Lutheran church.

He was born in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and remained on the home-farm until he reached the age of twenty-one years. He attended the common schools and worked in his father's pottery shop. In 1822 he began farming on his own account near West Overton. He continued to farm for some time when he removed to a farm in Mt. Pleasant township, where he remained for some time, when he located near Stonersville in East Huntingdon township, purchased land and continued to farm till his death.

To his second marriage were born eleven children, six sons and five daughters, of whom eight were still living in 1890.
