General Notes: Husband - Joseph Stoner


He followed farming in early life, then worked at carpentering for a time, finally having a mill known as the Wade Mill on the later site of Charlotte Furnace. Later he ran the A. Oberholt Mill for a time, then purchased Bear Farm, also known as the Hawkeye Farm, there having a saw mill, blacksmith and carpenter shop. He finally sold the Bear Farm and mill, spending his last years with his son, Martin L. Stoner, in Scottdale, Pennsylvania.
