General Notes: Husband - John Lawrence

He married and moved from Washington County, Pennsylvania, to Beaver County, and was twice elected to the Legislature from that county; afterward moved to Delaware County, Ohio, and died there, leaving a family. One of his sons was educated at Washington College, studied law, became very prominent in his profession, and served in the Legislature of Ohio. His son afterward served in the Senate of that state.
