General Notes: Husband - John Learn

He was born in Bell township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he was reared and educated and of which he was a continuous resident. He owned seventy-five acres of the original Learn homestead, where he carried on a general line of profitable farming. On this land he erected, in 1878, a fine dwelling of modern construction, furnished with every convenience. He was at one time chosen by his townsmen to fill the office of supervisor.
