General Notes: Husband - Daniel Lehman

He moved [from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,?] to Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in 1778, and settled on a farm (later owned by his granddaughter, Mrs. Sollonia Horst), one and a half miles northwest of Chambersburg, along the creek, where he built a fulling-mill, and carried on farming and fulling home-made cloth for the settlers.
He was a minister of the old Mennonite Church, and with others was instrumental in building a house of worship on the site where the Mennonite Church stood, north of Chambersburg, on the Philadelphia pike.

He was buried in what was called the Wingerd graveyard, a short distance northwest of the pike toll-gate.
