General Notes: Husband - James Comly


He was a descendant of Henry Comly and Joan Tyler, who came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with William Penn in 1682. He was a prominent man in his county, a member of the Legislature, and a justice of the peace. Lived at the "Manor House" in Moreland township, Montgomery County.

Her name and memory have been perpetuated in "Bethayres," an important station on the North Pennsylvania railroad.
