General Notes: Husband - George Leyda

---

He was reared on the farm, receiving a limited literary training in the subscription schools. He married and then purchased a large tract of land, and followed farming and stock raising extensively in Washington County the remainder of his life. Politically he voted the Republican ticket, and in church connection he and his wife were members of the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church.

He and his wife had ten children, all of whom were living in 1890.
