General Notes: Husband - John Lincoln


He served King George III as one of his tax collectors of Berks County, Pennsylvania, in 1760. He migrated to the Shenandoah Valley, Rockingham County, Virginia, and took with him his eight children, ranging in ages from 4 to 21 years. One of these was Abraham, grandfather of the President. He resided in Berks County half his alloted years.
