He was an iron-master. For a short time he engaged in that busi-ness in East Tennessee, afterward at Howard Iron Works, in Centre County, Pennsylvania, and for the last forty years of his life was a member of the well-known firm of McCoy & Linn, of Milesburg Iron Works.
