General Notes: Husband - William Lockhart


He was the emigrant ancestor of this branch of the Lockhart family, and came to America [from Ireland?] about 1812. There is a tradition that he came to this country as early as 1808, but the first record of him is to be found at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he settled with his wife and five children.
