General Notes: Husband - James McJunkin

He obtained a common school education, was a devout member of the Presbyterian church, and in politics was a supporter of the principles of the Republican party. He served as school director and road supervisor for many years. He was an elder in the Presbyterian church which his father and grandfather had been connected with in the early days of that church in Allegheny County. He, like his forefathers, was a tiller of the soil.
