General Notes: Husband - Patrick Logue

He was born in Ireland and in boyhood came to the United States, locating at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began life's struggle without any means and without help. He hauled lumber for some years in Pittsburgh, and subsequently engaged in the lumber business for himself. He was there married and reared his children, and it was not until 1877 he moved to Butler County. His original purchase there was a tract of 150 acres located in Clearfield Township, and to this he subsequently added sixty seven acres. He had a fine brick home about one mile south of the Catholic church. His son, Michael, was the owner of a farm of sixty-five acres, also in Clearfield Township.
He and his wife were prominent members of the Catholic church, to the support of which they contribute liberally.
