General Notes: Husband - Henry Lowe


He was reared in the state of South Carolina, and from there removed to a farm near New Stanton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, comprising five hundred acres, on which he lived for some time. He subsequently removed to a three hundred and thirty-eight acre farm near Ruffsdale, where the Empire works were later situated. There he followed agricultural pursuits the remainder of his life.
