General Notes: Husband - Thomas Hudson Bagnall

He spent his youthful days on the farm and attended school in the winter months, assisting about the farm in the summer time. He finally took to the artistic business of a photographer and learned that profession, following it for eight years, but in 1868 engaged in farming in Mercer County. After two years he resumed the business of photographer at West Wilmington, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He continued there five years and then moved to Middlesex in 1877, where he went into the transfer business, in which he operated successfully up to 1881, and then became agent for the N. Y. P. & O. Railroad Company, at Middlesex. After remaining in that position for nine and a half years, he engaged in the grocery business, which he followed until 1891, when he went into the employ of the B. & L. E. Railroad Company, for whom he clerked for some time, and in 1901 was appointed agent at Greenville.
Politically, Mr. Bagnall was a Republican. At Middlesex he served as school director, member of the borough council, etc. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church.
