He was adopted when about 4 years old. He married (wife's name: "Jane" ?) They had two children: a girl, Jennifer, and a boy, Jamie. Jamie disappeared when about 16 years of age and was never heard from again. James and his wife divorced and he later married again. He was serving in the US Coast Guard in Brooklyn, New York, in Dec, 1973.
