General Notes: Husband - George Miller

grew to manhood in his native county, and learned the cabinetmaker's trade. He removed from Virginia to Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania, and thence to Butler, where he pur-chased property and engaged in the furniture business, which he followed for many years.
He and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian church, and among the pioneers of the Butler congregation, in which he held the office of elder. Politically, he was a Republican, and served as county commissioner and treasurer of Butler County.
