General Notes: Husband - Asher Van Kirk


He was a farmer, having large interests as an agriculturist and stock dealer in Elizabeth township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Disposing of his property there, he bought a farm which is now in the heart of the city of McKeesport, Allegheny County, and he had accumulated considerable wealth by the time of his retirement. His death occurred about 1880, when he was between seventy and eighty years old.
He and his wife had twelve children.
