General Notes: Husband - John Marshall

---

He first learned the hatter's trade, but later took up farming.
He and his wife lived in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, until 1820, when they migrated to Armstrong County. They occupied the farm which his uncle, William Marshall, had settled on in 1803, until his death. He continued to work at his trade until a few years before his death, when he gave it up on account of the failure of his health.
