General Notes: Husband - Charles Todd


He learned the tailor trade. After his mar-riage he lived in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, till April 1852. He then removed to and worked on part of the Marshall farm in Valley township. In 1855 he removed to his father's farm in South Buffalo township, and in the fall of 1856 he returned to Kittanning, where he acted as toll collector for the Kittanning Bridge Company. In April, 1861, he enlisted in Co. A, 8th Reg. Pa. Res., served three years and was promoted to Commissary Sergeant of regiment. He resigned his position as toll collector in 1870, and purchased a grocery store in the room on the corner of Market and Water streets in the Eagle house. He car-ried on this store until his death.
