General Notes: Husband - John Martin

Two daughters were born to his first marriage who were raised by their mother's mother in Iowa.
He had a mill in Fairfield, Missouri, with his brother James for a short time. John and his second wife moved to a farm north of Lincoln, Missouri, in 1866, where he spent the rest of his years. He died of tuberculosis.
Fairfield is no longer in existence. The Truman Dam has covered it.
