General Notes: Husband - Capt. Samuel Martin


In Butler County, Pennsylvania, he raised a company of volunteers, which was recruited in October, 1861, and was mustered into service December 7, 1861, as Company E, One Hundred and Third Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers, Samuel Martin, Captain. Capt. Martin died of fever at White House Landing, Virginia.
