General Notes: Husband - Thomas Matlack


He was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania, where his family had been resident many years, and where his entire life was spent. He was a Quaker, as his forebears had been for many generations. He followed the occupation of farming.

He was a republican, and served for many years as supervisor of his township.
