General Notes: Husband - Millard F. Smith


A prosperous agriculturist and stock raiser and prominent township official.

He received his education at the public schools of the township. His early life was spent upon the farm. In 1886 he settled upon his his own farm, situated three-quarters of a mile northwest of May's Corners. Mr. Smith engaged in general farming and the purchasing of all kinds of stock for the Eastern markets. He was one of the enterprising young farmers of the township, and in politics a Republican.
