Mrs. Edna Mae Snyder Baird.
Mrs Edna Mae Snyder Baird, aged 34, wife of William Baird, passed away at her home in North Beaver township near Bessemer, at 12:40 p.m. Friday, following an illness of complications.
The deceased was born in Franklin, Pa., on June 7, 1905, and had been a resident of Lawrence county for a number of years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church of Bessemer and of the Ladies Auxiliary to the American Legion, Earl Watt post No. 638.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Donald and William; her mother, Mrs. Edith Snyder, North Beaver township, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Hildred Pape of Hillsville, Mrs. Opal Nelson of Edinburg, Mrs. Iva Penwell of Bessemer, Alvin and Paul Snyder, both of Edinburg.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. W. J. Engle in charge. Interment will be made in Castle View Burial Park.
