General Notes: Husband - William Stewart


He was a farmer by occupation, and became quite well-to-do. Becoming blind, he spent the last twenty years of his life in retirement from active labor. In politics he was a lifelong Democrat, and he was a consistent member of the Presbyter­ian Church.
